San Gabriel Valley organization Operation Healthy Hearts has put together a Mutual Aid Master List for Southern California that connects people directly to food distribution.
Browse the directory to find up-to-date listings for food pantries, hot meal giveaways, community fridges, and grocery delivery and distribution centers across the region. Each entry includes links, addresses, days and hours of operation as well as the date of most recent verification, ensuring that the information is current and trustworthy. The master list also includes an easy form for anyone to update, flag, or add a new resources to the list.
This resource couldn't come at a more critical moment as grocery prices continue to climb and the ongoing government shutdown fuels uncertainty around the funding of SNAP benefits. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as Calfresh in California, supports more than 5 million people statewide. While some counties are funding the benefits for residents, others are left waiting for federal assistance. This directory helps bridge the gap by connecting people to local sources of nourishment and care, generously provided by neighbors and grassroots organizations.
