UPDATE: September 17, 2025
Hey Bay Area friends,
We have some disappointing news to share. The Reentry Conference & Expo in San Francisco has been cancelled due to budget constraints and safety considerations. While we’re sad we won’t get to connect with you in person this time, we fully support the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s decision to prioritize everyone’s safety.
Even though the event isn’t happening, our work in the community continues and we hope to have another chance to meet, share, and build together in person soon.

We’re excited to share that Project Protocol will be part of the 2025 Reentry Conference and Expo in San Francisco on Friday, September 26, hosted by the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
For more than 13 years, this event has brought together advocates, organizations, and community members who are dedicated to supporting people on their journey home after incarceration. The conference is a space to learn, share, and strengthen the network of reentry support across the Bay Area.
At Project Protocol, we know the parole process can feel isolating and overwhelming. That’s why we’re building an online platform where people can connect with others walking the same path, share their experiences, and access trusted resources, all in one place.
This year, you’ll find us at the Reentry Conference Expo. We’ll be there to:
Share more about our platform and how it works.
Connect directly with people navigating parole.
Build relationships with partners and organizations working toward reentry justice.
📅 Friday, September 26, 2025, 8am-3pm 📍 Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, San Francisco
