At Project Protocol, we believe meaningful change starts with listening. Our work is shaped in partnership with community and guided by the lived experiences of the 35,000 Californians navigating parole, placing those most impacted at the center of the solutions we build.

Over the past year, that commitment mattered more than ever. Our communities faced ongoing loss, uncertainty, and crisis; yet even in those moments, we witnessed resilience, care, and collective power. That strength is reflected in the people who continued to show up, share their experiences, and believe in technology rooted in dignity, transparency, and accountability.

Today, we’re proud to share our 2025 Impact Report, Building People-First Tech for Reentry: Our Impact in 2025. This report highlights what’s possible when reentry tools are built with community, and how people-first technology can make reentry easier to navigate, more humane, and connected.
