Community Guidelines for Project Protocol

Last updated: August 15, 2024

Project Protocol aims to be a place where people can be transparent about their re-entry journey. Therefore, your safety and the safety of the community is very important to us.

Moderation Practices

For any comments on parole officers, we will hide them until they are approved by a member of our team. Once approved, the comment will be visible on the agent page for the public to see. Our team may reach out to you privately to work with you if your comment contains any information deemed not appropriate for publishing.

Policies

Identifying Information

Do not post details of events or personal information that could identify you to a parole officer.

Doxxing

Do not post details about other community members (including parole officers or staff members at an organization) that could put them at risk of personal harm. For instance, do not post private information like their personal home address.

Retaliation

Do not post explicit descriptions of harmful activity or events that could lead to serious retaliation.

Slurs or Derogatory Words

Do not post comments with slurs or derogatory words.

Spam

Do not post spam that aims to drive traffic to websites, products or initiatives that are commercially-motivated.
