Libros Schmibros, is a bilingual lending library in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. They're open 6 days a week, every week. Since 2010, we've tried to create a place where anybody, regardless of means or status, can walk in and find good books and good company. In addition, we show movies, host public conversations and podcasts, teach classes, install the occasional pop-up around town, read books to kids, lead field trips, and essentially do whatever we can think of to champion the pleasures of reading and its power to change lives.
